Here is a brand new cocktail recipe on Hors d’Age : The Rancio Bomb !
The RECIPE
- 2cl of Jean-Luc Pasquet Kongesønnen XO
- 5cl of Grosperrin MMC3
- 2cl of fresh green lemon juice
- 1 lemon peel (garnish)
- 1 egg
- Press a 1/2 lemon to obtain 2cl of lemon juice
- Clarify the egg to keep only the white
- Put the lemon juice, the egg white, the Grosperrin MMC3 and the JLP Kongesønnen into the shaker
- Give it a first shake without the ice to get a perfect emulsion
- Add some ice cubes and give it a second shake
- Put some ice into a proper cocktail glass
- Double strain it while pouring it into your glass
- Let 1 lemon peel on the surface of the cocktail and a dash of black pepper
- And here it is : The Rancio Bomb ! A great cocktail to exhaust the mushroomy notes of the Grosperrin MMC3 and the fruitiness of the JLP Kongesønnen
